Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver at Benton Harbor, MI. This flexible, dependable role offers fixed shifts and the option to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings, with a potential path toward a full-time schedule.

Pay rate is $18.54 per hour. Requirements include a valid driver’s license; CPR/First Aid preferred; background check; high school diploma or equivalent; and basic access-control experience.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate observations to site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Observe and report unusual conditions or policy violations and assist with access control and traffic flow.
