Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time, unarmed Security Officer in River Rouge, MI. You will perform perimeter patrols, monitor access points, and provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a utilities location.

Qualifications

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
A background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by following site procedures and access-control protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, parking areas, and perimeter zones to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, deliveries, and visitors.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, solution-focused manner and document activities.
Complete required reports and maintain accurate activity logs for site leadership and management.
