Allied Universal in Reston, VA seeks a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) to serve employees and visitors at a technology location. You will patrol, deter incidents, monitor access, and deliver professional customer service.

The role offers a flexible weekend schedule (Sat-Sun) with a pay rate of $25 per hour; prior customer service experience and CPR/First Aid are preferred, and a background check is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening required by law.
• Valid driver's license only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology location by following site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations per escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, and parking areas to identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity to support authorized entry and a professional environment.
• Prepare clear incident and security activity reports for Allied Universal leadership.
