Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol Customer Care) in Reston, VA. The role involves patrolling, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering excellent customer service at a tech-focused site.

Pay rate is $25.00 per hour with a flexible daytime schedule. Applicants should be 18+ for unarmed roles, pass background checks, and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and building perimeter to identify and report unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity to support authorized entry and a professional environment.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents and communicate information to leadership and site contacts.
