Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Unarmed Security Guard in San Jose, CA. You will patrol and monitor a technology location, support access control, and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

Position is part-time with a flexible schedule and opportunities to explore additional shifts through the Claim a Shift platform. Prior security and badge experience is valued; a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies; assist in emergencies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor records, report anomalies per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed to site contacts or responders.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Prepare clear activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff information per Allied Universal requirements.
