Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks an Unarmed Patrol Customer Support officer in San Jose, CA. You will monitor facilities, deter incidents, and provide courteous service to employees and visitors at a high-tech site.

The role requires at least two years of security experience, a HS diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work a full-time daytime schedule. You will engage with technology to document observations and maintain logs.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required by law for employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology and semiconductor manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, office areas, production-related spaces, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and reports of patrols, incidents, and unusual observations.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by communicating professionally with site personnel and following Allied Universal and client site procedures.
