Allied Universal in Newport Beach, CA is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer to safeguard clients across commercial real estate sites. You will patrol, monitor access, and respond to incidents while delivering strong customer service and professional presence.

The role supports a flexible daytime schedule, with opportunities to engage with tenants, visitors, and staff and to contribute to a secure environment. Prior security or access-control experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local regulations.
• For unarmed roles: minimum age 18; armed roles: 21+.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff while following site policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interiors, parking, entrances, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting concerns to management.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies, documenting observations.
• Prepare accurate daily activity and incident reports and maintain professional presence.
