Allied Universal in Orange, CA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Building Access Control) to protect and assist tenants, visitors, and staff at a commercial property.

You will patrol, monitor access points, respond to alarms, and deliver friendly customer service while following site procedures. The role offers flexible shifts and the chance to grow within a leading security company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
• Alarm panel experience and badge experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors while following site security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and service requests calmly and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the property, including buildings and parking areas.
• Monitor access points to deter unauthorized entry and trespassing.
• Document incidents and patrol activity per reporting procedures.
