Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Security Officer in Newport Beach, CA to safeguard clients across various industries. The role focuses on access control, resident assistance, and routine patrols within a gated Hillside community.

You can build a flexible schedule using our Claim a Shift platform and serve with professionalism. Pay is $21.60 per hour with a part-time schedule: Day/Evening shifts Thursday and Friday.

Qualifications

• 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• A background check and drug screen are required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/locality and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
