Job summary

Allied Universal in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) to protect clients while delivering excellent customer service. You will monitor assigned areas, deter incidents, and report observations during routine patrols at a technology‑focused site.

This role offers flexible scheduling: DayTime Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM and Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, paid at $20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state and local laws.
• Criminal histories considered in compliance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws; driver's license if driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of the facility and surrounding areas.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor credentials as directed by site policy.
• Complete detailed activity reports and shift handoffs with clear communication.
