Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed in Norfolk, VA to provide reliable security services at a designated site with a stable anchor shift and the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation as required by law.
• Background histories reviewed per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required per state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out site‑specific security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly according to emergency protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the location and deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports per site requirements.
