Job summary

Allied Universal in Suffolk, VA is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Perimeter Review to provide reliable, flexible coverage at a designated site. This role offers part-time hours with anchors and the potential to pick up extra shifts.

You will perform security procedures, respond to incidents, conduct patrols, monitor entry points, and document observations, while maintaining a customer-service focus.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and security procedures at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and incidents in a calm, controlled manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization to restricted areas.
• Document patrols and incidents, and communicate findings to site leadership.
