Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Guard at a technology-focused location in Chicago, IL. You will patrol, monitor access points, verify badges, and respond to incidents while delivering courteous service to employees and visitors.

This role emphasizes flexible scheduling with a part-time shift pattern and opportunities to engage with our Claim a Shift platform. Prior CPR and badge experience are preferred, and a background check is required.

Qualifications

• Background check will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and security concerns in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, data center areas, and parking and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain incident and patrol documentation.
• Communicate security observations and needs to site leadership.
