Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer in Plainfield, IL. You will monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law; licensing may be required.
• Reliable and observant with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production, warehouse, office, parking, and perimeter areas at a food and beverage location to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, vehicle traffic, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, maintaining accurate logs and documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Support a professional workplace environment by reporting hazards, policy concerns, and maintenance issues through established communication channels.
