Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Access Control in Macon, MO. This part-time role focuses on safeguarding clients across various industries, maintaining a visible security presence, and supporting access control while delivering excellent customer service.

You will monitor, deter incidents, and respond to alarms, with responsibilities including logging activities and communicating professionally with employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and follow site-specific procedures and emergency response if needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility and related areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and according to procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain logs and documentation.
• Communicate security-related concerns professionally with staff and visitors.
