Job summary

Allied Universal in Macon, MO, is seeking a Security Officer Access Control Patrol for a food and beverage production site. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, verify credentials, and provide courteous service to employees and visitors.

You will respond to incidents, document observations, and report hazards to site leadership. This role emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and a visible security presence to deter incidents.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a food and beverage production location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of facility buildings, production areas, parking lots, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, following visitor and contractor entry procedures, and documenting arrivals, departures, and deliveries in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required incident documentation.
• Observe and report hazards, damaged property, access-control concerns, and other security-related conditions to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
