Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Vehicle Patrol Driver) in Atlanta, GA. You will protect government facilities, assist visitors, and enforce access control while maintaining a professional presence.

Responsibilities include patrolling sites, responding to incidents, and completing reports. Prior security experience and a valid driver’s license are preferred; training and flexible hours offered.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background checks and drug screening may be required.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following site-specific procedures and access-control protocols.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas; verify authorized access and report suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, spaces, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Complete incident reports and shift documentation accurately and promptly.
