Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Part Time in Atlanta, GA to serve clients at financial institutions and other venues. You will perform armed patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and provide professional customer service while maintaining a visible presence to deter security threats.

Requirements include at least 3 years of security-related experience (or a college degree), 5 years of security experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, ATM areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and follow applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal post orders for armed assignments.
