Ampersand Therapy LLC seeks a part-time Teacher of the Visually Impaired in Tukwila, WA for the 2026-2027 school year. 15 hours weekly with flexible days and a supportive district team.

You will conduct functional vision evaluations, provide instruction, and plan for students aged 3–22, including braille as applicable, in school and community settings. A valid TVI endorsement is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington Residency Teacher Certificate with TVI Endorsement is required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to referrals, attend meetings, and conduct functional vision evaluations and related paperwork (IEPs).
• Provide specially designed instruction, related services, and consultation to students, staff and parents.
• Plan for and teach students with vision impairments ages 3–22 in school and community, including braille when applicable.
