Job summary

TheraPeds Partners seeks a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) for the 2026–2027 school year in Williamstown, KY. This on-site, part-time role offers guaranteed hours and a manageable caseload to support PreK–12 students with visual impairments.

You'll provide direct TVI services, develop IEP goals, conduct functional vision assessments, and collaborate with families, teachers, and specialists to promote access and independence in education.

Qualifications

• Valid Kentucky teaching certification/endorsement for TVIs
• Experience with students who are blind or visually impaired
• Knowledge of Braille and assistive technology
• Experience with IEPs and special education services

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and consultative TVI services
• Develop and implement IEP goals and specialized instruction
• Conduct functional vision and learning media assessments
• Support Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC)
• Collaborate with families and school staff
