Point Quest, Inc. seeks a dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired for the Seattle region. This in-person, school-based position runs roughly 8:00 AM–3:30 PM, with travel between sites as needed, for the 2026-2027 year.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction to students who are blind or visually impaired.
• Assess students' functional vision and learning-media needs.
• Support instruction in the Expanded Core Curriculum.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs.
• Adapt instructional materials and recommend appropriate assistive technology.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, related service providers, and school teams.
• Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation.

Ampersand Therapy is hiring an itinerant Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) for the 2026-2027 school year in the Seattle WA area. We are a women- and therapist-founded company committed to creating a supportive employment experience for school-based professionals. Job Highlights

• Position: Teacher of the Visually Impaired
• Setting: In-person and school-based
• Schedule: Full time, approximately 8:00 AM-3:30 PM
• Maximum Hours: Up to 40 hours per week
• Starting ASAP
• Grade Levels: All grade levels
