Job summary

Catapult Learning, a division of FullBloom, is seeking a Part-Time Tutor in Montville, CT to provide contracted instructional services in reading, mathematics, and writing for students.

You’ll advocate for students, tailor lessons, diagnose skill deficits, and work with teachers, parents, and administrators to reinforce learning while meeting program goals. The role offers competitive pay and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Non-licensed tutors: associate degree (or higher) or at least two years of study (48 semester hours or 72 quarter hours).
• Licensed tutors: CT State properly Licensed Teacher credentials.
• Tutors must complete an FBI/BCI background check.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Unwavering belief that all children can learn.
• Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose learning skill deficits and deliver prescribed instructional methods as determined by the Company.
• Consult with school personnel to coordinate services for students.
• Communicate and confer with parents on student progress.
• Deliver prescribed instructional methods as determined by the Company.
• Attend training sessions and deliver designated instructional models and strategies in reading, mathematics, and/or writing.
