Job summary

Catapult Learning, a division of FullBloom, in Suffield, CT, seeks a part-time tutor to support reading, math, and writing for students in our program. You will diagnose skill deficits and deliver prescribed instructional delivery methods.

You will coordinate with school staff, communicate student progress to families, and maintain student records while using Company-designed materials. Training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Non-licensed tutors require an associate degree or 48/72 credit hours.
• Licensed tutors must have state credentials as a properly licensed teacher.
• Tutores must complete an FBI/BCI background check.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Belief that all children can learn.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose needs and deliver prescribed instructional methods.
• Consult with school personnel to coordinate services.
• Communicate student progress with parents.
• Deliver prescribed instructional methods as determined by the Company.
• Attend training and implement instructional models and strategies.
• Develop individualized lesson plans.
• Supervise students and escort sessions.
• Establish and maintain student forms and files.
• Attend and document meetings with supervisors, teachers, principals, and parents.
• Maintain inventory of educational materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
