Qualifications

• Non-licensed tutors: associate degree or 48/72 credit hours.
• Licensed tutors: CT properly licensed teacher.
• FBI/BCI background check required.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Belief that all children can learn.
• Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose learning skill deficits and deliver prescribed methods.
• Consult with school personnel to coordinate services.
• Communicate with parents on student progress.
• Deliver prescribed instructional methods.
• Attend training and implement instructional models.
• Develop and maintain lesson plans.
• Supervise students during sessions.
• Maintain student forms/files as required.
• Attend meetings with supervisors/teachers/parents.
• Maintain inventory of materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
