Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to verify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations

Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients and visitors to create a superb care experience.
• Handles telephone inquiries and assists patients seeking access or help.
• Checks in patients, updates demographics, and maintains accurate EHR data.
• Verifies insurance eligibility, benefits, and collects copays/balances.
• Offers Sliding Fee Discount program when appropriate and explains payment options.
• Prepares daily reports and reconciles cash with registration procedures.
• Schedules and reschedules treatment appointments and coordinates with preauthorizations.
• Communicates with team and patients to ensure treatment plans are followed within approved timelines.
