Job summary

Go! Retail Group in Short Hills, NJ is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to welcome customers, assist with purchases, and provide friendly, attentive service in our calendar and toy stores.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, following the sales process, promoting promotions, and operating the POS system. Prior experience is a plus, but not required. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• No retail experience required, 3 months experience a plus
• Excellent verbal communication with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Enthusiasm about being an impactful and innovative leader
• Self-motivated, optimistic and solution-oriented mindset
• High integrity, accountability and reliability with openness to feedback
• Knowledge of retail operations, sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control and loss prevention a plus
• Basic computer skills including POS systems and Microsoft Office
• Able to perform basic math
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Greet every customer when they walk through the entry
• Execute Five Steps to a Sale at every opportunity
• Offer current promotions and special offers
• Operate the Point of Sale system accurately
• Provide service by utilizing in-store systems and promotions
