Job summary

Go! Retail Group is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to join our calendar, toy and gifts stores. You will greet customers, execute sales steps, promote promotions, operate the POS system, and provide service by assisting with calendars.com and in-store special orders.

Requirements include friendly communication, at least some retail experience, a proactive mindset, and reliability. The role is up to 20 hours per week with weekends and evenings as needed.

Qualifications

• No retail experience is necessary, however at least 3 months of retail experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with a Friendly, professional demeanor.
• Self-motivated, passionate about the work you put out, lead with optimism and a solution-oriented mindset.
• High integrity, accountability, reliability, and responsible individual who is open to feedback.
• Basic computer skills, POS system and Microsoft office.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer when they walk through the entry.
• Execute Five Steps to a Sale at every opportunity.
• Offer current promotions and special offers.
• Operate the Point of Sale system accurately.
• Provide comprehensive service by utilizing calendars.com, email marketing, and in-store special orders.
• Maintain a store environment that meets visual merchandising standards, engages your consumer, and stimulates them to buy.
• Receive and place new shipments.
• Reset features and promotions as directed.
• Complete regular housekeeping tasks.
