Job summary

Go! Retail Group is seeking a Sales Associate in a part-time role to handle customer service and sales in-store. You will greet customers, promote promotions, and process POS transactions while maintaining a clean, appealing store environment.

You will support inventory and merchandising tasks, assist with shipments, and help deliver a positive shopping experience through friendly service and efficient operation of the register. Weekend and evening availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• No retail experience is required, but at least 3 months in retail is a plus.
• Excellent verbal communication with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Enthusiasm for being an impactful and innovative leader.
• Self-motivated, optimistic, and solution oriented.
• High integrity, accountability, reliability, and openness to feedback.
• Create an engaging shopping experience by understanding customer needs.
• Knowledge of retail operations, sales, merchandising, inventory control, and loss prevention is a plus.
• Basic computer skills, POS system, and Microsoft Office.
• Able to perform basic math and work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer as they enter the store.
• Execute the Five Steps to a Sale at every opportunity.
• Offer current promotions and special offers.
• Operate the POS system accurately.
• Provide service using calendars.com, email marketing, and in-store orders.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and empower shoppers to buy.
• Receive and place new shipments and reset features as directed.
• Perform regular housekeeping tasks.
