Job summary

RTI International is seeking part-time School Test Administrators to administer school-based computerized assessments for TIMSS. The role involves in-person testing in schools, coordinating with staff, and managing logistics for data collection.

You will travel to local sites as needed, use RTI equipment, and complete timely reports. The position offers a $25 per hour pay rate, with travel time and mileage reimbursed and eligibility for an employee discount program.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• One year of related field interviewing, data collection, teaching, or working with children in schools.
• Comfortable in school settings and various neighborhoods.
• Strong communication skills through speech and listening.
• Fluent English in reading, writing, and speaking.
• Available for entire training and data collection period.
• Must have a valid US driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Experience using RTI-issued devices and setting up Chromebooks/routers.

Responsibilities

• Administer computer-based assessments in-person in schools.
• Contact schools to discuss the study, confirm participation, and review setup logistics.
• Collect confidential information and administer standardized questionnaires.
• Travel to local or regional school sites as required; occasional overnight travel may be needed.
• Manage administrative duties, including trainings and conference calls.
• Transmit data promptly after student sessions and maintain accurate records.
