Raleigh Recovery Center is seeking a Cook to implement menus, coordinate food preparation, and serve meals for clients, staff, and visitors at the Raleigh, North Carolina facility. The role includes ordering, inventory, sanitation, and adherence to dietary guidelines to ensure nutritious, high‑quality meals.

The position is onsite with responsibilities that span kitchen supervision, portioning, temperature control, and meal counts.

Qualificações

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Two or more years’ experience in a food service role in preparing food for institutions preferred.
• ServSafe Certification or similar food safety certification, where required by the state, facility.

Responsabilidades

• Plans and prepares foods in accordance with facility policies and approved dietary guidelines.
• Directs activities of staff who assist in preparing and serving meals.
• Monitors serving line and maintains proper temperature logs to ensure safety and quality.
• Keeps cooking area clean, orderly, and properly labeled for inventory and storage.
• Handles leftovers and proper storage with date labeling and description.
