Mountain Top Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a dependable Dietary Cook to join our Nutrition Services team on-site. The role covers day and evening shifts with flexible scheduling, supporting residents with nutritious meals and dietary compliance.

As a part-time and full-time position, you will work under the Director of Food Service to prepare meals per approved menus and therapeutic diets, while maintaining food safety and quality standards. Join our caring team today.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ServeSafe certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience in healthcare or long-term care cooking preferred.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals per cycle menus, recipes, and therapeutic diets.
• Ensure meals are palatable, visually appealing, and served at proper temperatures.
• Review menus and production sheets daily.
• Portion food accurately and use proper utensils.
• Monitor temperatures per HACCP guidelines.
• Label, date, and store food properly.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen using clean as you go practices.
• Assist with inventory and maintaining appropriate food and supply levels.
• Follow safety procedures and dress code guidelines.
• Support resident preferences and concerns.
