Job summary

The Alley Theatre is seeking a Part-time Operations Assistant to support the Director of Operations with daily duties and event execution in Houston, TX. This role is non-exempt and hourly, with responsibilities across rooms, mail, furniture and event setup.

Ideal candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment, display initiative and strong communication, and be able to work daytime, weekends, and evenings as needed. Benefits include paid time off and tickets to performances.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Operations Team with maintaining the conference and event rooms, as well as all kitchens in the facilities.
• Assist Reception with processing and sorting mail.
• Order, build and maintain office furniture.
• Assist with internal and external event setup and execution.
• Cover for Receptionist when necessary.
• Archive Maintenance.
• Complete other tasks and projects as assigned.
