Job summary

The position is part-time (up to 18.5 hours/week) with a salary of $17.50 per hour, based on MCC Part-Time Wage Schedule. Location can be Lowell or Bedford campus; start date August/September 2026; applications open until filled.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a closely related field.
• Experience with computerized test administration or academic assessment is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the electronic system to check scheduled exams, ensure all forms are completed, exams are uploaded, etc.
• Conduct follow-ups to ensure all required forms, documents, passwords/access, etc. are set prior to the date of scheduled exams
• Proctor exams for students requiring accommodations with focus on extended time and distraction-reduced environment
• Develop and maintain a proctoring schedule each semester, including mid-terms and finals weeks
• Check in students prior to administration of tests
• Ensure software is available and working
• Set up computerized test stations and provide testing instructions to students
• Ensure testing materials are secured and computers are logged off at end of session
