College of DuPage in Carol Stream is seeking an Instructional Assistant III for Testing Services. This part-time role supports test administration, center operations, and student services across COD testing platforms.

The position requires strong communication, basic to advanced computer skills, and adherence to FERPA guidelines. The schedule is approximately 20 hours per week, including day/evening/weekend shifts; starting wage is $21.70 per hour, with eligibility for benefits as a part-time

Qualifications

• Two years of college or equivalent educational experience required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Proficiency in spoken English.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Advanced computer skills preferred.
• Prior work experience in education preferred.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide test administration and instructional support in Testing Services.
• Support Testing Center staff and the Assistant Manager of Learning Support Services.
• Manage test delivery methods and monitor exams using COD systems.
• Maintain Testing Center operations and provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure test integrity and FERPA compliance.
• Troubleshoot testing software and coordinate with vendors/IT.
• Complete proctor certification and maintain eligibility status.
• Direct students to appropriate COD departments and resources.
• Coordinate with faculty on testing policies and procedures.
• Represent Testing Services in outreach and information sessions.
• Plan, schedule, and conduct information sessions for students.
• Respond to emergencies per COD procedures.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
