Job summary

Grayson College seeks a Testing Center Assistant to proctor local and national exams on a 12-month, part-time basis. This position is 19 hours or less per week with an hourly salary of $18.00.

Responsibilities include scheduling and administering tests, maintaining security, assisting students and staff, managing records and fees, and supporting online exam sessions as needed. Applicants should have an Associate degree and 6 months to 2 years of related experience, plus strong customer service

Qualifications

• Six months to two years of similar work experience.
• Associates degree required.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• 55% Schedules and administers standardized tests, including, but not limited to, the TSI Assessment, NEXAdmissions Exam, CLEP, Texas exams, Prometric, ACT, HiSET and GED.
• 20% Maintains test security while assisting students, faculty, staff and the public.
• 10% Maintains records, collects proctor fees, and securely stores test materials under supervision.
• 10% Administers proctored online course exams and make-up exams as arranged by faculty.
• 5% Performs other duties as assigned.
