Job summary

USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center is seeking a part-time Tennis Professional to deliver high-quality instruction and promote player development for players of all ages and skill levels.

The role requires strong on-court tennis proficiency, coaching certifications, and the ability to lead clinics, camps, and private lessons while supporting USTA events and Net Generation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong on-court tennis proficiency and ability to instruct players of varying ages and skill levels.
• Current USTA Coaching and/or PTR certification required.
• Experience with RO G Y formats and junior development is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create a fun, engaging environment for players of all ages and skill levels.
• Demonstrate high-level playing techniques and lead drills and clinics.
• Engage with clients and network to grow participation.
• Plan, organize, and execute clinics, camps, drop-in sessions, and private lessons.
• Assist with organizing and managing USTA events and tournaments.
• Implement player development systems using Net Generation where applicable.
• Promote the USTA brand with professional hospitality to members and guests.
• Support US Open operations and fulfill assigned event duties.
