Job summary

Langley Federal Credit Union is seeking a Part-Time Teller to join the Gloucester, VA branch on-site. You will provide exceptional in-person service, process member transactions, and educate members on Langley products.

The role requires an associate degree or 2 years of customer service experience and includes flexible scheduling and weekend shifts. You will handle cash transactions, use the core banking system, and maintain accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• An associate degree or two years of face-to-face customer service or sales experience, including cash handling, is required.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Processes all types of transactions for members, including balance inquiries, transfers, payments, loan advances, account openings, and other requests.
• Processes cash transactions accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assists members with service requests, documents interactions, and follows up using CRM tool and document management system.
• Educates members on Langley products and services and makes referrals to internal partners.
• Fosters teamwork and provides on-site training for tellers.
• Protects members and the Credit Union by deterring fraud and theft.
• Performs other branch operational duties as assigned.
