Austin Telco Federal Credit Union is looking for a friendly Part-Time Teller to serve members at our Austin, TX locations. The role offers a part-time schedule with rotating Saturdays and a starting pay of $20 per hour.

You will greet members, handle routine transactions, assist with digital banking, and support branch operations, helping members with products and services while maintaining cash-handling accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in customer service or cash handling is preferred.
• Friendly, outgoing, member-focused personality is important.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Comfort with computers, cash handling, and basic math.
• Reliability, punctuality, and willingness to learn are needed.
• Flexibility to support rotating schedules, including Saturdays.
• Willingness to travel to nearby branches to support staffing.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and provide exceptional in-person service.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and routine transactions.
• Balance cash drawer with accuracy.
• Assist members with account questions and basic digital banking support.
• Issue cards, handle check orders, and support branch service needs.
• Identify member needs and recommend credit union products.
• Maintain security and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Support the branch team with daily tasks and operational needs.
• Provide coverage at nearby branches to ensure consistent service.
