Job summary

Texas DPS Credit Union is seeking a part-time Teller to serve as a welcoming, dependable first point of contact for members, processing routine transactions accurately and efficiently.

The schedule includes Weekdays 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. and Saturdays, with mandatory Saturday availability. The role emphasizes cash handling, confidentiality, and high service standards within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior cash-handling or teller experience preferred.
• Ability to balance cash and perform basic math accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, check cashing and other routine transactions accurately.
• Verify member identity and documentation before completing transactions.
• Maintain a cash drawer and balance it at shift end, reporting discrepancies.
• Provide friendly, professional member service and refer complex needs to the appropriate team.
• Follow security procedures and regulatory requirements at all times.
