Texas DPS Credit Union is seeking a Part-Time Teller to serve as the friendly first point of contact for members. The role involves processing routine financial transactions, assisting with basic account questions, and connecting members to the appropriate team when needed.

Regular Saturday availability is essential in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be comfortable handling cash, demonstrate accuracy, and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior cash-handling, customer-service, retail, or teller experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math and balance cash accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, check cashing, and other routine financial transactions accurately.
• Verify member identity, account ownership, endorsements, balances, and documentation before completing transactions.
• Balance cashier drawer and transaction records at end of shift; report discrepancies promptly.
• Provide friendly, professional service and assist members with basic account questions; refer to specialists when needed.
• Follow security, regulatory, and internal control procedures; complete training within deadlines.
