Job summary

Crossroads Bank in Wabash, IN is seeking a part-time Teller (~25 hours per week) to provide an exceptional customer experience while handling day-to-day banking transactions.

You will process transactions, verify IDs, balance cash drawers, and maintain a secure, professional workspace. This role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and teamwork, with some Saturdays and regular weekday hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in Business or related field preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Process routine and less frequent customer transactions accurately using teller systems capture technology.
• Verify customer identification or other documentation in accordance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor lobby and teller line activity to ensure customer flow efficiency.
• Balance cash drawer throughout the business day with accuracy; manage cash drawer and secure funds.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area.
• Answer incoming phone calls and route inquiries appropriately.
• Assist customers with online banking.
• Prepare and roll coin as needed.
• File and maintain signature cards and other customer documentation.
• Comply with all applicable regulations and internal policies, including BSA and OFAC.
• Participate in required training, continuing education, and seminars as offered.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support branch operations.
