Job summary

UW Credit Union’s Cottage Grove Road Branch is hiring a Part-Time Teller. You will perform a variety of transactions, provide friendly member service, and look for referral opportunities to deepen member relationships.

This role supports the Members for Life philosophy and requires accurate, efficient processing of member requests. Ideal candidates bring a High School Diploma, at least 1 year of customer service experience, and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• Ability to work with customers of all ages and backgrounds.
• Excellent interpersonal and professional skills.
• Team player that can confidently jump in where and when you are needed.
• Ability to work in an autonomous environment.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of UW Credit Union by providing front facing member service at the Cottage Grove Rd Branch location.
• Achieve balanced scorecard results in alignment with Members for Life Sales & Service Philosophy.
• Maintain a high degree of knowledge in all UW Credit Union products and services.
• Ensure all members requests are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Adhere to UW Credit Union’s Cash Management policies and procedures.
• Research all teller transactions when potential errors are identified, and communicate with affected members.
• Identify opportunities to deepen member relationships through building rapport, uncovering needs, making recommendations, & submitting referrals.
• Consistently seek out opportunities to exceed member expectations.
