Job summary

UW Credit Union's Wauwatosa Branch is hiring a Part-Time Teller to greet members and process transactions with accuracy and enthusiasm. You’ll support teammates, learn UWCU products, and strive to exceed member expectations in a friendly, community-focused environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least one year of customer service experience, and strong interpersonal skills. This on-site role offers pro-rated PTO, caregiver and new child leave, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• Demonstrates ability to work with customers of all ages and backgrounds.
• Excellent interpersonal and professional skills.
• Team player that can confidently jump in where and when you are needed.
• Ability to work in an autonomous environment.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of UW Credit Union by providing front facing member service at the Wauwatosa Branch location
• Achieve balanced scorecard results in alignment with Members for Life Sales & Service Philosophy
• Maintain a high degree of knowledge in all UW Credit Union products and services
• Ensure all members requests are processed accurately and efficiently
• Adhere to UW Credit Union’s Cash Management policies and procedures
• Research all teller transactions when potential errors are identified, and communicate with affected members
• Identify opportunities to deepen member relationships through building rapport, uncovering needs, making recommendations, & submitting referrals
• Consistently seek out opportunities to exceed member expectations
