Job summary

Asurion’s Newport store is seeking a Part-Time Retail Sales Technician to bring friendly, knowledgeable customer service to tech-focused shoppers. You’ll earn $17.00 per hour plus uncapped sales bonuses and repair incentives, with paid training to build confidence in products and services.

Expect to help customers, demonstrate Serve, Solve, Sell training, and support basic device troubleshooting and repairs as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or retail sales (1+ year).
• Ability to connect with customers and explain tech in simple terms.
• Willingness to learn repair basics and product features.

Responsibilities

• Be the welcoming face of the store and provide human-centric service.
• Use communication skills to enrich interactions and upsell Asurion products.
• Learn device troubleshooting, diagnostics, and basic repairs as needed.
• Balance front-of-house and back-of-house tech and inventory tasks.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet store goals and support customers.
