Job summary

Longwood Medical Area Child Care Center in Boston is seeking a Part-Time Teacher to support infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. You will contribute to a warm, nurturing learning environment and help young children develop through play and structured activities.

The role offers a flexible schedule (around 6:30 am–6:00 pm shifts) with a starting pay of $20.50 per hour. Previous daycare or early childhood experience and a high school diploma or GED are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Previous teaching experience in a daycare or early childhood setting.
• Up-to-date immunizations.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule: hours 6:30 am–6:00 pm, with peak needs 6:30/7–10 am and 2:30/3–6 pm.

What You’ll Do:

• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children ages 2 months to 5 years old

What You’ll Need:

• Ability to work a flexible schedule of your choice: any hours 6:30 am-6:00 pm. The most needed shifts are between 6:30/7-10 am and 2:30/3-6 pm
• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
• Up-to-date immunizations
• Previous teaching experience in a daycare or early childhood setting
• Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices
