Job summary

GetHired, Inc. in Missouri is seeking an Infant Teacher to provide high-quality care and education for infants in our child care center.

The role focuses on creating a nurturing and stimulating environment, planning age-appropriate activities, and communicating with parents about development. This part-time position runs Monday through Friday from 12pm to 5pm, with potential to go full-time within 30–90 days for motivated applicants.

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask while caring for multiple infants.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to learn about child development and age-appropriate activities for infants.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants, including providing emotional and physical support.
• Implement age-appropriate activities to promote the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of infants.
• Communicate with parents about their child's day in our app.
• Follow all policies and procedures related to the care and education of infants, including adhering to safety protocols and maintaining accurate records.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity of care and education.
• Closing the building as needed.

Job description

Introduction:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Infant Teacher to join our team and provide high-quality care and education to infants in our child care center. The Infant Teacher will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants, planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, and communicating with parents about their child's development and progress. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and be able to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff. This position is Monday-Friday 12pm-5pm with the potential for full time hours in the next 30-90 days if the applicant is willing.
