Longwood Collective, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Teacher to nurture infants, toddlers, and preschoolers and help cultivate a warm, positive learning environment.

The role supports children from 2 months to 5 years, with opportunities for full-time positions. Candidates should have daycare or early childhood experience, a HS diploma or GED, and a passion for developmentally appropriate practice.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Previous teaching experience in daycare or early childhood setting.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule: 6:30 am–6:00 pm with peak shifts 6:30/7–10 am and 2:30/3–6 pm.
• Up-to-date immunizations.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices.

In this role, you’ll have the unique opportunity to support all ages, h elping to create a positive, nurturing learning environment every step of the way. What You’ll Do:

• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children ages 2 months to 5 years old
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow staff members

What You’ll Need:

• Ability to work a flexible schedule of your choice: any hours 6:30 am-6:00 pm. The most needed shifts are between 6:30/7-10 am and 2:30/3-6 pm
• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
• Up-to-date immunizations
• Previous teaching experience in a daycare or early childhood setting
• Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices
