Job summary

Newman Early Learning Center in New Jersey is seeking a friendly, reliable team member to support daily activities with young children on a consistent morning or afternoon schedule.

As a Classroom Assistant you will welcome children, assist with routines, supervise play, help with light cleaning, and collaborate with teachers to ensure a safe, nurturing environment. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with young children preferred but not required.
• Friendly, reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Schedule

Choose one of the following consistent schedules:

• Morning:Monday–Friday,7:00am–10:00am
• Afternoon:Monday–Friday,3:00pm–6:00pm

Additional hours may be available based on enrollment and staffing needs, with opportunities for future full-time employment.
