Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Tablet Assisted Patrol in Durham, NC. You will provide customer service, conduct unarmed patrols at a healthcare location, and maintain a visible security presence while using tablet-based tools to document observations.

Schedule is Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM. Earn $20.46 per hour with opportunities through the Claim a Shift platform and a focus on teamwork and a people-first culture.

Qualifications

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 21+ years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directing individuals to appropriate locations while maintaining awareness of restricted areas.
Document observations, incidents, and daily activities accurately and promptly, escalating security-related concerns according to site procedures.
