Job summary

Allied Universal in Durham, NC is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for Tablet Reporting Patrol. You will provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff and vendors, monitor entrances and patrol the facility, and help deter security incidents in a healthcare setting.

The schedule is as listed: Daytime and Night shifts; pay rate $18.54 per hour. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner while notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions, and report unusual conditions to site leadership.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain clear communication with supervision and site contacts.
